Paint Protection Film

What is Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Paint Protection Film, commonly known as PPF or “Clear Bra,” is a durable thermoplastic urethane layer designed to protect any painted surface. First introduced in the 1950s, it gained popularity for covering the front of cars with thick, noticeable films in the 1990s. Modern PPF has evolved to be much thinner, allowing it to follow a vehicle’s curves and edges seamlessly, making it almost invisible when applied. Today’s films feature hydrophobic properties, self-healing capabilities, color stability, and come with one of the best warranties available in the industry.

Which Vehicles Can Be Protected

Almost any vehicle can benefit from PPF protection. It is commonly applied to cars, trucks, vans, SUVs, motorcycles, and ATVs. Additionally, it can protect aircraft such as airplanes and helicopters, as well as watercraft including boats and personal watercraft like Sea-Doos. PPF is also suitable for a wide range of accessories, such as bumpers, plastics, and helmets, ensuring comprehensive protection for both vehicles and their components.
